EUROGEOGRAPHICS is a European association of national organizations for Cadastre, land registration and cartography. It was established in 2002 as a non-profit organization and currently has 63 members from 46 European countries.

The Agency for Real Estate Cadastre of the Republic of Macedonia is a member of “Eurogeographics” since 2007. It is involved in the realization of certain projects and provides quality and up-to-date geo-information, thus contributing to the establishment of the European Geospatial Data Infrastructure (GIS). The Agency for Real Estate Cadastre actively participates with its own data sets in the following Eurogeographics products:

  • Euro Boundary Map – administrative and statistical units in scale 1:100 000;
  • Euro Global Map – topographic data collection in scale 1:1 000 000;
  • Euro Regional Map – topographic data collection in scale 1:250 000;
  • Euro DEM – digital terrain model.

The role of “Eurogeographics” is to develop the European Spatial Data Infrastructure. Its members participate in the development of policies, share knowledge and experiences and search for common solutions. As a European association, “Eurogeographics” cooperates with the European Commission and the European Parliament, providing support in the implementation of European initiatives and projects.
