A delegation from the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre will participated at the international conference on the topic “Digitally Enabled Development for a Sustainable Future in Eastern Europe”.
The conference was held in Vrdnik, Republic of Serbia, from 18th to 20th of September 2019, organized by the Republic Geodetic Institute of the Republic of Serbia, and in cooperation with World Bank and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
The conclusion of the participants was that digital technologies are making fundamental changes to society, they are the drivers of development and if used well, they can help reverse the negative trends in Eastern Europe. Within the framework of the several sessions and panel discussions, over 200 participants from 18 countries and 14 international organizations had the opportunity to learn about the innovations in the field of digital development, transformational technologies, geospatial data integration and the INSPIRE Directive.
In the session entitled “Digital Transformation – Good Practice in Eastern Europe”, the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre of the Republic of North Macedonia presented the topic “Digital Development of the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre, Challenges and Benefits for Society”.
