Novelties from the work of the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre

The Agency for Real Estate Cadastre is the founder of the Real Estate Cadastre, maintains it, manages the geodetic-cadastral information system and establishes and maintains the public access to the National Spatial Data Infrastructure.

AREC has several competencies, however the main determination in its work is openness towards the users and facilitation of the access and use of the information it makes available to the professional users and the private trade companies that perform geodetic activities, as well as provision of easy access to their services to the citizens who need them.

For this reason, the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre of the Republic of North Macedonia provided several facilitations in the use of the e-Kat counterfor the professional users.

Services for the professional users:

The professional users can submit the following in electronic form through the e-Kat counter of AREC:

  • request for a certificate for the movement of a real estate;
  • request for a list of indications of cadastral parcels;
  • request for changes in infrastructure facilities (in the case of a parcel, part of a building or infrastructure);

The professional users and private trade companies that perform geodetic activities are provided with the following in electronic form through the e-Kat counter:

  • monitoring of the status of submitted related requests made in AREC,
  • possibility for searching data in the Land Cadastre.

The Agency for Real Estate Cadastre facilitated the access to its services for all citizens.
Service for the citizens:

  • The citizens can submit a request for various cases for a department in another city, different from their place of residence.

For example, like it is now possible for a property deed to be obtained for the entire territory of the Republic of North Macedonia from any place, the citizens will likewise be able to submit different requests in relation to their own properties, in any city, for another municipality, for example a request for changes that arise on the basis of a hereditary resolution and the like.
