The Agency for Real Estate Cadastre of the Republic of North Macedonia hosted a meeting of the Steering Committee of the IMPULS Project on April 16, 2019.
The directors from the region participated in this tenth meeting of the Steering Committee, at which the report on the realized activities in the past period, as well as a financial report, were reviewed and adopted, and several ideas and visions for further regional cooperation were likewise shared.
Following the opening of the meeting by the Director of AREC and the representation of the new members by the representative of IMPULS, all the envisaged items of the agenda were elaborated. Finally, the representative of SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) presented the Agency and the fields of action on which emphasis is being placed, and explained what the current interventional areas in which operations are being undertakenare.
At the end of the meeting, the Director of AREC, Boris Tundzev thanked the representative of SIDA, Nina Geladze Ekstedt and the Deputy Director General of the Swedish Cadastre, Anders Lundquist for their support in the process of approving the project “Cooperation for Digital Democracy”, which will be implemented in our country by AREC in the period from 2019 to 2023.
