Delegation of the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre participated this year on the regular annual Land and Poverty Conference, organized by the World Bank. The twentieth conference was held in Washington in the period March 25-29, 2019.
The topic on this year’s significant event was: “Regulation of innovations:For better land governance in digital economy”.The latest achievements in the area of cadastre, land governance, application of new technologies in function of surveying and other related areas were presented on the Conference.
The Conference was opened by Kristalina Georgieva, Chief Executive Officer of the World Bank, who emphasized the importance of the real estate market and the ownership rights.She emphasized the achieved progress of Republic of North Macedonia in this segment, which is result of the successful registration of properties in the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre and the shortened deadlines for registration of real estate in the Cadastre.
On the Conference, the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre of Republic of North Macedonia held a presentation on the topic: “Legalization process of buildings and facilities in the Republic of North Macedonia from the aspect of the Real Estate Cadastre”.The presentation caught the attention of the present persons. Interesting discussion followed after the presentation, where the participants were interested in the way in which the results were achieved for registration of legalized facilities in the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as in the needs for contribution to the legal regulation in this area.
Approximately 1500 representatives from many countries worldwide attended the Conference.
