From 21st to 23rd March 2019, in Sofia, Bulgaria, the first annual General Assembly of the Council of European Geodetic Surveyors (CLGE) was held, and a seminar was organized within the event. Last year, the Agency for Real Estate Cadaster of the Republic of North Macedonia became an associative member of this Council. The Assembly was opened by Mr. Valentin Jovev, Deputy Minister of regional development and public works of the Republic of Bulgaria, who is also a professional surveyor.
The first day was dedicated to the topic “Challenges for the surveyors, vision 2030”. We celebrated the Global Surveyors’ Day, and this year LorandEotvos from Hungary was chosen as the surveyor of the year.
During the working session, the Chamber of Certified Surveyors of theRepublic of North Macedonia presented its operations.
On 23.03.2019, the presidents of the Chambers from North Macedonia, Albania and both Bulgarian Chambers signed the “Code of professional qualifications for surveyors”. In addition, our delegation held numerous bilateral meetings with the delegates from the other member states of this Council, where we exchanged experiences, news, strategies, and other issues.
The topic for the second annual General Assembly was chosen to be “Ethics in the real estate market”, and at this General Assembly we set the date for the first annual General Assembly for next year. Skopje is going to host the event, and it will be held from 2nd to 4th April.
