11th session of the Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA)

Representatives from the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre attended the eleventh session of the Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA) founded within the Economic Commission of Europe, under the auspices of the United Nations, referring to the international exchange of knowledge from the area of land administration and real estate management.

On this session, held in February 26-28, 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland, the work of the Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA) for the previous two years was audited and new members of the Bureau managing the Working Party on Land Administration (WPLA) were elected for the next period of two years 2019-2021. Tatjana Cenova-Mitrevska, AREC representative, who is a former member of this management body, was re-elected for such position for the next mandate as well.

The 11th session was attended by large number of representatives of cadastre agencies from Europe and Eastern Asia.The presentations were grouped in multiple sessions, with discussions held about how the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) will contribute with its work to the improvement of the land management.
