The Law on Real Estate Cadastre expands the competences of AREC.The Agency for Real Estate Cadastre will setup and manage the Graphic Registry of streets and house numbers. It will contain on-site gathered spatial and descriptive data on the street and house numbers, separately per populated area.
The Graphic Registry of streets and house numbers will be connected to the descriptive data from the registry of spatial units for the purpose of identification of the street in the populated area, i.e. administrative units, as well as with the data from the electronic real estate cadastre (eCat), thus ensuring easy identification of the real estate according to the address.
The Agency takes over, ex-officio, the descriptive data on the streets and house numbers from the registry of street names and house numbers kept in the Central Registry of Republic of Macedonia. They will be updated with on-site data gathering. The Agency will perform on-site gathering of spatial data on streets and house numbers.
The Agency for Real Estate Cadastre concluded contracts with external contractors for on-site gathering of data on streets and house numbers in the populated areas under the competence of the following municipalities:Gazi Baba, Aerodrom, Centar, Gjorce Petrov, Kisela Voda, Suto Orizari, Butel, Karpos, Cair and Saraj.
The activities have already commenced and therefore the citizens need to be aware in continuity of the purpose of the on-site gathering of data i.e. of the activities implemented on-site.The teams hired by AREC should be allowed to implement the complete planned procedure, such as gathering information and taking photos of the facilities.
