Barcelona hosted the Second Annual Assembly of CLGE (Council of European Geodetic Surveyors), which was held from 4th to 6th October. At this election Assembly, a new President, Secretary General and five Vice Presidents were elected. Mr. Maurice Barbieri was elected as the President of CLGE for the third time.
Representatives from the Republic of Macedonia attended this large gathering of surveyors. The Agency for Real Estate Cadaster of the Republic of Macedonia had an appropriate presentation, while the President of the Chamber of Certified Surveyors addressed the attendees regarding the organization of the First Assembly of CLGE in 2020 in the Republic of Macedonia.
This year, at this Annual Assembly, the AREC became an associate member of CLGE, and we received a certificate specifying the original name of the institution.
Numerous meetings were held on the margins of the conference, such as with CLGE representatives, but also with other attending surveyors from other countries.
