Today, on 13th September, at the premises of the Agency for Real Estate Cadaster of the Republic of Macedonia, a workshop was held regarding the establishment of the Address Register in the Republic of Macedonia.
The workshop was attended by a representative of the Dutch Cadaster, as well as a representative of the Municipality of the City of The Hague. They presented the Dutch experience in relation with the address register, i.e. for the role and responsibility of the involved institutions, elaborated the structure of the legislation regarding this issue and answered the technical questions that they had resolved.
Previously, the Agency for Real Estate Cadaster of the Republic of Macedonia had presented the status of the establishment of the Address Register in Macedonia, i.e. they had presented the report on the status of the pilot project and the activities planned for the forthcoming period.
The Agency for Real Estate Cadaster, in its strategic plan for 2017 – 2019, approved by the Government of Republic of Macedonia, put the establishment of the Address Register of the Republic of Macedonia as priority project. This Address Register will include unique spatial and descriptive data for the streets and house numbers and it will be used for various statistical purposes.
